This is best accomplished through the effective use of building compartmentation, and by using fire and smoke dampers within duct systems. Rheia, LLC

Rheia is a proprietary “home run” residential air distribution system that ensures predictable airflows to create a balanced, comfortable environment throughout the home. 

As a small-diameter duct system, Rheia can be located entirely in the home’s conditioned spaces, routing the ductwork through conventional 2 x 4 walls, I-joists, and open web trusses. Rheia air distribution systems are designed for simplicity, significantly reducing installation time and costs. Compared to conventional systems, Rheia's easy-install system can save up to 60% on installation time, depending on the home's size, type, and location. This efficiency allows contractors to maximize productivity despite limited labor availability.
