Uniform ES provides the following evaluation programs including Evaluation Reports, Listing Program, Steel Fabricator Program, Precast Concrete Fabricator Program and EnergyStar.

EVALUATION REPORTS

The purpose for Uniform Evaluation Reports (ER) is to document compliance with particular code(s) and their referenced standard(s). This is done on a manufacturer-by-manufacturer basis. A UER documents compliance of a manufacturer’s product, material or component to the referenced code. This recommendation for code approval is contingent on the scope of evaluation and the conditions of use included in the report.

LISTING PROGRAM

Uniform Evaluation Services (ES) provides assurance for end users and building regulators that product complies with the single standard specification or the test results are valid. We ask the tough questions, and when we get satisfactory answers we provide an IAPMO Uniform ES Evaluation Listing that tells the manufacturer, and the reader, that someone with the right expertise asked the right questions and got the right answers.

STEEL FABRICATOR PROGRAM

Code officials trust IAPMO and its Uniform Evaluation Services. As a model code agency, we are here to assist the code official in verifying code compliance. We are not affiliated with any manufacturing sectors. IAPMO Uniform ES has published evaluation criteria for structural steel fabricators (EC20). This criteria sets forth the information needed to document the fabrication facility’s quality system, including a schedule of surveillance inspections by qualified inspection bodies.

PRECAST CONCRETE PROGRAM

Code officials trust IAPMO and its Uniform Evaluation Services. As a model code agency, we are here to assist the code official in verifying code compliance. We are not affiliated with any manufacturing sectors. IAPMO Uniform ES has published evaluation criteria for precast concrete fabricators (EC22). This criteria sets forth the information needed to document the fabrication facility’s quality system, including a schedule of surveillance inspections by qualified inspection bodies.

ENERGY STAR CERTIFICATION

IAPMO UES has partnered with ENERGY STAR to provide a quick and simple path to demonstrate how your product is ENERGY STAR certified. Once your product has demonstrated that it meets the intent of the building code through evaluation and publication of an IAPMO UES Evaluation Report (ER), an additional certification is added to you ER report through the use of a supplement. This provides an all inclusive document that can be presented to anyone in your market place.
